We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our international Commercial team. This role combines responsibilities in sales and client relationship management. You will drive sales growth in Denmark and serve as the primary point of contact for potential and assigned clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identify new business opportunities. Additionally, you will oversee of key projects together with our Customer Success team.
Main responsibilities
Identify and engage with key decision-makers within DSOs to promote our technical solutions.
Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and develop account strategies aligned with customer needs, regulatory developments, and market trends.
Work together with the regional commercial team to develop proposals and negotiate contracts.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, solutions, operations) to ensure successful solution implementation.
Monitor client performance, forecasts, and pipeline development so that assigned sales targets and KPIs are met or exceeded.
What we expect from you
5+ years of experience in sales or client management.
Proven track record of growing client accounts.
Experience in key account management, preferably in energy, utilities, or technology solutions.
Knowledge in smart metering systems, AMI/AMR technologies, or related digital infrastructure
Knowledge energy sector regulations applicable to DSOs is an advantage.
Strong understanding of customer relationship management and tools (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Salesforce)
Fluent Danish and English skills, Swedish and German is an advantage
